Digital Communications Innovations is a privately owned telecommunications installation and service company. The founding partners had a simple ideology from the very beginning. "Each customer is unique and each customer will require unique services". No two customers are alike; DCI strives to provide the best options and solutions on a case by case basis. "Offer proven equipment and solutions", to build the trust of the customer and the customer will entrust DCI with their communications needs. T-Series Telephone Sets The Phone System is not completed by just having the KSU. Telephone sets are required to complete the phone system purchase. The T-series telephones are proprietary to Norstar phone systems. T-series sets will operate on the CICS or the MICS phone system. Backwards compatible with the entire line of Norstar Control Units. Ergonomic design with tilt display, and the integrated headset button, make the T-series telephone set an attractive feature phone. DCI was founded in January of 2000. The new millennium was not the ideal time to form a new company much less a telecommunication company. The financial success of the company is attributed to the "pay as we go" method as well as keeping overhead low which allows DCI to offer gentler pricing options over most of our competitors. Our technical staff has been trained by various manufacturers to provide support and service on the following equipment: • AVAYA/Lucent/AT&T • Nortel Option PBX's • Norstar • ESI • ShoreTel • Vodavi When making an investment with a new piece of telecom equipment, it is important to define and understand the needs your business has now as well as in the future. DCI would like to offer some assistance during the research phase of your investment. Key terms that will be encountered are Key systems, Hybrid Systems, PBX, or VOIP. Allow us to define these terms. M-Series Telephone Sets. The M-series telephones are proprietary to Norstar phone systems. M-series sets will operate on the CICS or the MICS phone system. A Key System in it's simplest form is a telephone system that has multiple telephone line buttons permitting users to see what lines are in use on each telephone set that is connected to the system. You may have heard it on TV shows, the all too famous "you have a call holding on line one". A key system will offer basic or enhanced office features such as hold, transfer, optional voicemail system, and conference. Key systems are designed for a small office or home office application. A Hybrid System combines attributes of a Key System and a PBX. The hybrid system will often expand to fit a medium to slightly large office, more often then not these system will accommodate special Telco trunking such as PRI or T1 facilities. A visual concept is to consider the Hybrid system as middle of the road in terms of features and expandability. VoIP is yet another acronym. This term is still some what foreign to the typical telephone system consumer. A VoIP or voice delivered using internet protocol telephone system allows multi location companies to create a network of sites using network services to connect locations. From a cost stand point VoIP technology alleviates the need for individual phone systems at multi-locations as well as voice cabling with new build outs. The systems communicate through the companies WAN or wide area network, the IT manager will be able to administer the system as a server; voicemail/e-mail integration, and a wealth of other unique features are available with VoIP technology. Installation & Service PBX is actually an acronym for Private Branch Exchange. A PBX is very flexible in terms of growth capacity, features, and capabilities. A PBX is almost like having a smaller version of central office equipment at your site. A PBX will accommodate call center applications, call monitoring, remote call forwarding,T1/PRI trunking, networking among remote sites and is truly designed for large office and multi location sites. Worth metroplex, our trained technical staff is prepared to trouble shoot and correct problems related to your telephone equipment, voicemail equipment, Telco services, computer network, or cabling infrastructure.
