Little Tyke Centers and their curriculum provide a setting for varied opportunities for creative learning in keeping with the child's intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth. The atmosphere at Little Tyke must allow for the many individual growth patterns of its enrollment. To provide this creative learning atmosphere, the approach to teaching is an informal, yet individual method.
Staff Involvement:
Its essential components are exploration, discovery, creativity, achievement, and happiness. It is the task of the center's Director and staff to interact, observe, and develop ways of managing and structuring the environments so that the student can develop a growth pattern uniquely his own. The structure of planning interest centers with flexibility and openness are fundamental to Creative Child Care, Inc. concepts.

To ensure your child has a fun and exciting learning environment, Little Tyke Creative Child Care has chosen HighReach Learning® curriculum. This curriculum provides a balance between teacher instruction and child exploration, and is based on sound child development standards and proven practices. The flexible design of each curriculum program allows teachers to choose the activities that best meet students' individual needs and interests. Developing essential school readiness skills while allowing each child to learn at his/her own pace and have fun is the basis of HighReach Learning curriculum.
A broad lesson plan is posted every Monday for parents to keep informed of their child's class activities.
HighReach Learning, Inc. and Little Tyke Creative Child Care are committed to high-quality, developmentally appropriate leaning materials that allow teachers to easily facilitate a creative, integrated, hands-on learning experience for the whole child. Our mutual goal is to enhance the development of readiness skills, encourage a love for learning, and promote family involvement in the learning process.
After school-The Tykers Club :
Ages 6-13,
This Action Packed Club is full of After School Activities, Field Trips, Crafts & Art Projects. Tykers Club also provides new and exciting fun with other Tykers.
- Transportation provided Before/After School.
- Our after school program provides a relaxed atmosphere with a variety of activities from which the parent and child may choose.
- During the school year there are opportunities provided for the children to do their homework, if they are at the center long enough.
- However, Little Tyke does not believe in coming straight from public school and sitting down to homework. A snack and an active time will be provided after school, outside when weather permits.
- During the summer months "Tykers" will have activities planned that will keep them well occupied. A calendar of events and activities will be provided along with information on any extra fees that may be required.
