Building Rainbows

We have a homework area, and much indoor play space complete with a disco-ball and karaoke area. Our summer program features all kinds of fun and enriching activities!
Our Philosophy
Building Rainbows provides a superior environment for nurturing children's growth and development. Our atmosphere is positive, joyful, safe and filled with fun. Our staff encourage children to develop a secure and positive attitude about themselves and those around them.
Our classroom environment is structured, yet flexible, and our activities are very "hands-on." Children learn by doing: dramatic play, cooking, math, science, art, language, letters, and numbers are all a part of our curriculum. Our program presents developmentally appropriate learning opportunities that challenge children to think and solve problems. We believe that children thrive on meeting challenges and succeeding!

Toddler Class
Mrs.Asha Hossain, Teacher
Mrs.Hossain has been at Building Rainbows for 3 years. She has worked with young children for the past 19 years, and has lived in Houston for the past 18 years. She has an associate degree, and is the mother of three children. She enjoys gardening, decorating, shopping and spending time with her family.
Mrs.Diane Galeucia, Afternoon Assistant
Mrs.Galeucia is a native of Vermont, and has previously done childcare in her Houston home for 18 years. She has been married for 32 years, and has three children, one girl and two boys. She enjoys reading, crafts, sewing and cross-stictching.
Schoolage Program
Ms.Veronica Gonzales, Program Coordinator
Ms.Gonzales is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, and she began her career at Building Rainbows in 1997. She has experience working with all age groups. Her academic interests as a music major included vocal performance, as she used to participate in classical singing competitions through college. She has completed her Associate of Arts Degree in Teaching - Early Childhood-4th grade Specialist. Her hobbies and interests include football, science fiction and fantasy books, and history. She brings much creative energy and talent to our schoolage program, and she consistently plans outstanding activities.
