TX Academy of Dance & Twirl

Our dance school has a happy and noisy atmosphere. The environment is created for fun and is made up of a fun and caring staff. Families are welcome and are involved in school activities. We have many parent meetings keeping the parents informed and give parents a chance to sign up for booster clubs, class parents, or on a committee to help.
Ms. Rhonda's School of Dance & Twirl has been instructing students in the Humble, Kingwood, New Caney, & Splendora area since 1979. TXA is loyal and dependable to their students.
At our school every student is a star. Every student is in a parade, 2 recitals a year and a spring show. Every student is proudly displayed on the wall of fame in our lobby. All students receive a school T-Shirt and car window decals. Every student receives a trophy at the end of the year review. More opportunities to perform are also available. We have competitive dance and baton teams, the TX Star Steppers. Our competition teams are award winning. We entertain at community functions.
Our Classes. TX Academy hosts 4 studios. All studios have Parent Viewing Areas.
- Performance Classes include 2 in house recitals, one parade, and one school performance. Lil’ Steppers: designed for the 2 year old with ballet, dance, and tumbling combined. Cheerleading: Cheer, chant, jump, tumble, & stunt with a little dance.
- Skill Classes only. It is suggested that you take these with a performance class .
- Competition Teams (Teams must take Team Prep). Performances in the fall include: parades, 2 recitals, competitions, a school spring show, and community events.
- Private Instruction (One on one with an Instructor). Classes are limited and are 1st come and 1st serve. Class students have first choice.
Our Early Childhood Program is designed to provide children with a strong foundation in dance & movement. Educators now know that training young children in spatial relationships, lay a strong foundation for the later development of reading, mathematics, and other educational skills.
Proven Results. We have a 99% success rate in placing students in school, college, and professional teams. We succeed with our philosophy to teach respect, responsibility, and reaching for goals.
Office Hours: Monday thru Thursday 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. In order to receive a family discount a family must prove they live at the same residence and must sign up with one form of payment under one family name.
