The Pantry`s fresh homemade food, daily specials, and homemade pies and cakes attract large crowds for lunch every day. Each year from Thanksgiving through Christmas, the Pantry bakes several thousand homemade pies, the bulk of them on Pie days the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve Day. Art and Jazz festival June 2 & 3, 2007 On June 2 - June 3 Historic Downtown McKinney will take center stage to host what will be known for years to come as "Celebrating the Arts and Jazz in Downtown McKinney." A two-day festival will feature local and regional jazz musicians who will come out to play on a beautiful June weekend. Event goers can expect to see over 100 artists and crafters representing every mix and medium of art while enjoying the sounds of jazz and strolling throughout downtown McKinney to experience the magic of history coupled with fine dining, wine tastings, arts and crafts, street dancing, live entertainment, and activities for all ages and much more.
