Arturo’s Uptown Italiano is the great Italian restaurant by Bill Sadler and Arturo Boada, who formerly created such Houston landmarks as Beso, La Mer, River Café, Solero and Café Noche.
Arturo’s Uptown Italiano will charm you with its Tuscan gold hues interspersed with limestone walls, a whimsical mural, red booths, soaring ceilings, soft lighting, romantic music and rosewood floors. And thusly charmed, the food will sweep you off your feet. Chef Arturo’s Raviolis are instant classics and many Italian connoisseurs have pronounced both the Baked Eggplant Parmigiana and Italian Sausage as the best ever.
Arturo’s Uptown Italiano is open for lunch from 11am Monday thru Friday and is open straight through until dinner. Dinner is offered Monday through Wednesday until 10 and Thursday through Saturday until 11. The bar stays open until the last romantic couple takes their leave.
Arturo’s is located in Uptown Park at the corner of Post Oak and Loop 610 between Memorial and San Felipe. This wonderful restaurant, between Memorial, Tanglewood and the Galleria, will delight all who enter with its warmth and richness.
