Camp Bow Wow campers play all day indoors and outdoors, and you can view them online anytime with our Camper Cams while working or traveling. Most importantly, our camp staffers are expertly trained in dog behavior, safety and health management and are there to ensure your pup has a great time!

We serve our Campers their very own food during their stay to avoid upset tummies, and special requests for your Camper, from medicines, extra treats, or special care for older pups and other requests are no problem here - at no extra cost!

We have over 150 Camp Bow Wows opening across the country in the next year as our franchise system continues to grow. Before you can board or participate in dog daycare, you need to make sure you meet these requirements:
- Dogs must be at least 4 months old
- Spayed or Neutered (if over 6 months)
- Current vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper & Bordatella (canine cough)
- must be healthy
- flea/tick free
- dog friendly
- generally love to play
Mom and Dad will also complete a camper application for you. You'll then get to play all day with dogs with your same temperament and size at no cost to your parents during our introductory free day of doggy daycare.
Overnight boarders play in the day camp program during the day and are kenneled individually at night.
If you don't think your dog can socialize, we'll help! All dogs can be social. It just takes a little practice, lots of extra attention and your Camper will be socializing in no time!
We Offer a Howlin' Great Time for All of Our Campers!
Our Canine Campers spend all day at Day Camp, from early in the morning to late in the evening, romping and playing indoors and out with lots of attention from our well-trained staff! Overnight campers even get special "Campfire" tasty treats each night before lights out, when they are tucked into their own spacious, comfy and clean Camp Bow Wow cabin. Each cabin includes a comfy bed to curl up on in a climate controlled atmosphere. Campers from the same household can even stay together in the same cabin. In addition, Camp Web Cam monitoring and professional security systems make sure all our Campers are happy and safe!

The Camp Concept

In the Spring of 1994, my husband Bion and I put the finishing touches on a business plan that represented our dream of owning a business, and our wish to create a happier place for dogs to stay for the day or night. The thought of leaving our own beloved furry friends in a kennel just wouldn't do, so we created a plan for a fun, safe, camp version of the traditional kennel. At the same time we were developing the plan for Camp Bow Wow, the pet care industry was growing by leaps and bounds. A new concept called "dog day care" was starting to pop up around the country, which was an integral part of the Camp Bow Wow concept.
We strive to make Camp Bow Wow as clean and safe as possible for all of our Campers! They must be neutered or spayed, current on Rabies, Distemper and Bordatella (for Canine Cough). They must socialize well with other dogs, and be in good overall health.
Soon after we began our search for the first Camp Bow Wow location, Bion died tragically in a plane crash. I never gave up on the dream we had and eventually opened the first Camp Bow Wow in 2000.
Our customers are committed to us because we take extra care with our furry guests.
