Lark Bookstore offers a full range of services, including book searches and fast special ordering. We also provide special services to teachers, businesses, and other organizations in our community.
Stop by and browse over 50 sections of books and related items. Choose your favorites and relax in our spacious and comforatble reading areas or enjoy coffee at our mini care. Be sure to bring the kids, too: they're sure to enjoy our children's section filled with story, picture, game and other activity books!

- Children's Story Time. Join us for Pre-school/Toddler Story Time with treat and craft! Every Monday at 10:15 am.
- In-Store Events, Author Signings, Performances
- Community Groups. We can often host special events, provide space for meetings, and accomodate the needs of community groups. We are continually identifying folks in our community with special expretise, areas of interest or special knowledge, hobbyists, and other who are willing to share their knowledge and experience through lectures, discussion groups, demonstrations, storytelling, etc. Let us help your group find a member of our community who might be able to help you with your next event.
- In-store Book Fairs and Fundraisers
- School and Educator Services. We're a one-stop source for all your book needs. We'll find and order books, provide a discount based on quantity and price, and deliver to your school. We can arrange for book readings, storytelling, and costume characters for younger students. Educational programs include "How a Book is Born" customized for age groups and an "Introduction to Samll Business" for older sudents. "Book Bucks" give teachers tools to reward their students. We also provide space to display student work.
- Business and Professional Services. Businesses buy books for lots of reasons – Corporate Libraries, Staff Training and Development, Customer Reward Programs, Closing gifts, thank-you gifts, holiday gifts, and more. We'll research and find the books you need, provide a discount based on quantity and price, and even deliver to your place of business. Also, find out what CEOs are reading, see the latest in sales, training, marketing, and strategy, business-discounted gift certificates.
- North Texas Writers Guild. Interested in writing? Meet with the Guild every first and third Thursday from 7-8:30pm at Lark Bookstore. What a community bookstore should be!
