I invite you to experience the new sights and comforts of my new office. Today’s technology with the new 3-D automated refraction equipment makes vision testing more comfortable and less confusing. Gone are the old style vision testers with all those knobs, everything is done on the computer. You may not even have to answer which is better one or two!
Dr. Katie Rippley has practiced in Denton since 1988. Virtually all her professional career has been devoted to taking care of her patients in Denton and surrounding areas. Dr. Katie, as most of her patients call her, is looking to re-invent eye care for the Denton area. Corporations seem to be taking over medicine, especially eye care and I want to bring back the private practice doctor, at least for my patients states Dr. Katie. I want to slow the pace of my practice down and take care of people one at a time, just a few people a day she adds. Dr. Rippley has moved her practice from Southridge shopping center to Soughridge Professional Center just across the street.
The new Optomap retinal scanner makes dilation unnecessary in most patients allowing you to return to normal activities right after your exam.

Our optical shop has a boutique style unique to Denton. We display over 700 frames, some of which are usually only found in the big city specialty shops. Comfortable frame styles that look great can be found in our optical boutique.
Our laboratory provides the latest in Lens technology from companies like Zeiss and Varilux. Sharper wider vision is available in these thin lens designs and you don`t have to pay the high chain store prices. Come and see for yourself.
