Built in the 1890's, the historic Hoopes' House in Rockport has been meticulously renovated and restored to its original splendor. We look forward to welcoming you to Rockport. Children 12 years and older welcomed. No pets. Consumption of alcohol is permitted (bring your own). Smoking is permitted in designated area only. Closed Christmas week. Open New Year’s Eve.
The main house consists of four charming guest rooms upstairs, all of these rooms are lavishly decorated in the Victorian style. These spacious rooms are furnished with many antiques original to the house. Each room has a private bath, phone and cable T.V. Each room accommodates up to two people.
The Live Oak Room features a bay view and a queen-sized bed. Its bath, with a shower and a claw-foot tub, is located in the turret on the third floor.
The Black Jack Room has a bay view, queen-sized bed and a bath with a shower stall.
The Lamar Room has a partial bay view, queen-sized bed and bath with a shower stall.
The Copano Room has a pool view, queen-sized bed and a full bath.
For those wanting a more private experience, a new wing houses four additional guest rooms, each beautifully appointed. Wireless internet access is available in these rooms. If you would like a suite, a garden room can open to an adjoining room. All guest rooms have a private bath with robes and fine amenities, telephones, and color cable television.
The San Jose Room has a pool and gazebo view, king-sized bed, sofa with a fold out queen-sized bed and a full bath. This room has a small refrigerator and a 4-cup coffee maker. The San Jose Room accommodates up to four people.
The Matagorda Room is a handicap accessible room with a pool view, queen-sized bed and a bath set up for wheel chair access with a large stall shower. This room has a small refrigerator and a 4-cup coffee maker. The Matagorda Room accommodates up to two people.
The Mustang Room has a pool view, queen-sized bed and a full bath. This room has a small refrigerator and a 4-cup coffee maker. The Mustang Room accommodates up to two people.
The Aransas Room offers a pool view, two queen-sized beds, a sofa (that does not fold out into a bed) and a full bath. This room has a small refrigerator and a 4-cup coffee maker. The Aransas Room accommodates up to four people.
